The press-meet workflow
- Record the room. A phone at the podium or a feed from the camera.
- Upload the whole thing. No trimming. Up to 2 hours.
- Choose the edition language — or run the same recording again for each language.
- Write the news report. Pick length and tone, then edit to your desk's style.
- File. DOCX for the CMS, PDF for the archive, SRT for the video team.
Quote-checking in seconds
With timestamps on, every line carries a time. Found the quote that leads the story? Jump to that second in your recording, listen once, and file with confidence.
See it on the homepage demo
The live demo runs a two-hour press conference from upload to a finished article — pick the spoken language and the article language yourself.
Frequently asked questions
How long can a recording be?
Up to 2 hours per recording and 1 GB per file. Long recordings are processed in sections and joined back together, so the upload doesn't fail halfway. Large videos are compressed on your own device first, so only a small audio file is uploaded.
Can Hindi audio become a Tamil news article?
Yes — that is the core of AI Journalist. The spoken language is detected automatically, and you choose the language of the output from 30 options. Hindi audio to a Tamil article, Tamil radio to English wire copy, an Arabic briefing to a Hindi feature: any spoken language to any output language, as text or as a finished news article.
Is the article ready to publish as it is?
Treat it as a strong first draft. AI can mishear names, numbers and heavy accents, so check every quote, figure and proper noun against the recording before you publish. You are the editor; AI Journalist removes the typing and translating, not the responsibility.
What do I get after converting a recording?
Clean text in your chosen language with optional speaker labels and timestamps, and an article draft written from that text: headline, lead paragraph, sub-headings, quotes and context. Export as TXT, Markdown, DOCX, PDF or SRT.
