Terms of Service

The service
AI Journalist converts audio and video into transcripts, translations, article drafts, claim reports and social copy. Output is generated by AI and is a drafting aid, not a verified fact. You remain responsible for accuracy, attribution, defamation risk and editorial standards before publishing.
Your content
You must have the right to upload and process the recordings and links you submit. Do not submit content you are not authorised to handle, or content that is unlawful. You keep ownership of your recordings and drafts; you grant us the limited licence needed to process and store them for you.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to create disinformation, impersonate people, harass individuals, or scrape platforms in breach of their terms. Downloads from YouTube are blocked by design. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or attempt to bypass usage limits.
Plans and billing
New accounts receive a free trial of 3 days and 30 audio minutes. Paid membership is $5 per month and includes $1 of usage credit; additional usage is billed at the per-minute rate shown in the studio and paid through credit top-ups. Processing is charged when a job starts; if a job fails, the charge is refunded automatically. Credit is non-transferable and expires only with account closure.
Suspension
We may suspend an account for non-payment, abuse, security risk or a legal requirement. You will be told the reason and can appeal by email.
Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Third-party AI providers may rate-limit or fail; when that happens the job fails and your credit is refunded.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the preceding three months. We are not liable for lost revenue, lost reputation, or editorial consequences of publishing AI-assisted output without verification.
